[Upon receiving an address, Ryo pockets his phone to quickly raid the house for supplies. A bedsheet, made of sugary gauze and not cute animal print Haruichi was forced into buying. Red raspberry syrup that poured from the kitchen sink is splashed over his clothes and dribbles down his mouth. The sticky sensation is unpleasant, and it'd be a pain to wash out later -- to be honest, this kind of thing was more Kuramochi's style over his but...
Even though he's brought a candy umbrella to protect against any flying blocks of chocolate, the stuff still manages to get splattered all over him. It's all part of the image though. Maybe he can be some kind of chocolate witch-zombie-mudman terror.]
still there? nothing strange yet?
[Upon reaching the right house, Ryousuke approaches to knock, a heavy pause interspersing each rap at the door. knock. knock. knock.]
[The problem with spinning stories is that someone seriously spooked might not be easily coaxed outside. Hm. Makoto may probably catch the fluttering tail of his makeshift cloak through the peephole as Ryo moves to sneak around the corner of the house. If he won't come out, Ryo will just bring the surprise to him instead.
The house is much more brittle as gingerbread. Sugary glass windows would probably shatter easily with enough force, but he's considerate enough to take care when prying them open, leaving enough space to haul himself up.
There's a thump! as Ryo's feet hit the floor of someone's bedroom. He's in!]
[There was always the danger of breaking into the place and running into one of Makoto's family members. Fortunately, the only thing that greets Ryousuke is a cat perched on the bed, staring back at him with judging eyes. Ryousuke's no cat whisperer, but takes a moment to deliver it a stern look. Keep quiet, kitty.
Satisfied that a cat isn't going to immediately out him, Ryousuke sneaks across the room and darts to the end of the hallway. Like a ninja. A pink haired, raspberry syrup covered harbinger of terror. A trail of sticky red syrup is left across the hall in his wake.
He can hear footfalls moving closer. With his back to the wall, hidden out of sight, he waits.]
[makoto is carrying two bowls with water and cat food pebbles, hoping to take it back to his room to the ever-lazy puddin, and mostly because if makoto is locking himself up in his room--he wants company.]
[all will be well.]
[that is, until he spots some weird traces of something on the floor in the hall. he stops, a mutter of 'what the f...' barely at hearing range, and tries to figure out what this trail is and/or leads to...? not knowing the vulnerable position he has just put himself in.]
[Just as Makoto nears the end of the trail, Ryousuke finally decides to alert him to his presence. He doesn't even have to jump out and yell 'boo!', but just emerges at the end of the hallway, occupying a space that was previously left empty.
It could be a nice scene of someone welcoming him home, right? Except there is fake blood dripping from the corner of his slanted eyes, down his mouth, and smeared on his clothes, and Ryousuke... doesn't actually live here.
[makoto does shout in fright, and jumps back; that itself causes him to move his arms haphazardly, so it's likely that ryousuke is now the victim of a splash of cold water and cat food pebbles.]
[The shout he expected. The full face of water and cat food? Not so much. It's unpleasant, and there'll probably be bits of cat food stuck in his hair and clothes, but it does nothing to douse his flame-- if anything his smile grows wider, and a touch more sadistic. Now it's on.
Re: text, hansel & gretel hell
It's not everyday fairytales get to come true.]

Re: text / action, hansel & gretel hell
And then there's quiet.]
Re: text / action, hansel & gretel hell
hello????
Re: text / action, hansel & gretel hell
[walks towards the front door]
--hello?
Re: text / action, hansel & gretel hell
Maybe it's best to be patient and wait and see what Makoto will make of the unsettling silence.]
Re: text / action, hansel & gretel hell
[so he peers through the peephole]

Re: text / action, hansel & gretel hell
[a little rattled, he closes the door behind him--and locks it.]
[currently, he's distracted by a cat wanting real food and none of this cookie nonsense]

He smiles.]
Hello, Makoto.
Re: text / action, hansel & gretel hell
No, no no no no!
[hands up, in defense]
P-please don't hurt me...!
darkness
one step closer.]
Ma-ko-to.
Re: darkness
[the panicked wail, as makoto makes a dash for the other end of the hall, to hide out in the kitchen. holy shit, what the fuck]
